Tony Max
Anthony got his first tattoo at the age of five when he tripped and fell on a
pencil lead and it left a mark on the palm of his hand for years. Soon he
began using markers to illustrate his body, despite the fact he had never seen
a tattoo. When he had graduated school, he bounced around several universities
studying Art History and Painting, all the while creating flash designs for
his friends who wanted ink.
After a few years of college, Anthony dropped out and began his tattoo
apprenticeship in 1999 under David Evans of Underground Art. Through that
shop's guest spots, he was able to meet and study the work of some of the
greatest artists in the industry, such as Tim Biedron, Randy Muller and Roger
Seliner.
He's stuck with the business for many years now and has taken skin
illustration as a lifelong mission. He tries his damnedest to create rich
colorful tattoos that tell a story, especially with mythical or alchemical
themes. When he's not busy talking in the third person, Anthony spends his
time painting in acrylics and reading whatever he gets his sweaty mits on.

In 1976, there was born a man who, blah, blah, blah...
Piercing since 1994
Tattooing since 2002

It all started back in May of 2003 when I was a desk girl at
Trilogy. At this point Paul Cade took me under his wing and decided to let me
apprentice under him. For the next year Paul taught me everything I needed to
know about piercing. I also had the privilege of learning from two other equally
talented pierces: Michael Crites and Brent Hale. I am still at Trilogy, we have
three pierces there. Myself, Brent Hall and Tim Homan. Between us there is over
40 years of knowledge and experience. If you want the best piercing around then
we will see you soon. My hours during the week are Monday 12p-6p, Tuesday
12p-6p, Thursday 6p-12a, Friday 7:30p-3a and Saturday 7:30p-3a.
